Greetings, my name is Captain Bill Ferris and I am the owner of Cypress Outdoor Adventures. I offer private airboat tours in the Florida Everglades. Whether it’s a leisurely morning airboat ride with the family or hard-core Spearfishing all night long, we offer everything you will need for the ultimate Everglades experience. My private airboat tours are tailored for the customers needs. Whether it’s organizing the transportation for a tour or assisting my customers with dining options after their tour, excellent customer service is always my goal.
There is no airboat tour size that is too big or too small at Cypress Outdoor Adventures. I will do everything in my power to accommodate my customers so that they have the absolute best experience possible.
Cypress Outdoor Adventures is a dream that I’ve had since I was a child. I was fortunate to grow up in the Everglades. My father would take me out almost every weekend and we would explore the Everglades with family and friends. The life’s lessons and respect learned for mother nature and other Gladesmen, are what made me the person I am today. It built strong bonds with my family and gave me a deep appreciation for nature.
In my early 20s I traveled to South Africa to work in the Eco-Safari business. I lived in the bush outside a small town called Ellisras near the Limpopo river. My time there was spent learning the ins and outs of the safari business. Whether it was animal identification, flora and fauna, first aid and customer hospitality; it was an amazing learning experience that I am blessed to have participated in.
I wanted to take that knowledge and experience and apply it towards my own company that I had always dreamed of. Now as a single father of two I am able to make that dream a reality. When a customer calls me for an airboat tour, I listen to the customers needs and requests and after that first conversation they know that they are in good hands with someone who cares.
